The Story

The Ella is our classic handbag in cognac leather with a lightweight cotton fabric lining. Its roomy style has a zipped top closure and two flat, front and back facing, internal zipped pockets for ease of access. This practical style has a fully adjustable and removable leather strap and two hinged handles. The Van Velze and Smith crest is embossed on both the front and on the inside.

Care & Repair

Whilst every mark on your VVS bag tells a story, caring for your bag is still important, so that after years of use they are still in great condition.

Bag Care

Use a soft brush to give the leather a light buffing and to remove any loose dirt or salt particles which can cause damage over time.

Whilst visible dirt and salt can harm leather, dry conditions are leather’s ‘silent killer’. When the natural moisture escapes under dry conditions, the fibrous interweave will start to weaken and visible cracks form. By conditioning your bag before use with a good leather conditioner or balm and then always keeping the leather supple, you can avoid this sad tragedy. With the addition of waterproofing spray, this will allow your bag to retain its water resistance.

Delivery

We offer next day delivery on all purchases to mainland UK. Buy before 1pm and we will send your bag on the same day, so you get to wear it the following day.
